McKee Community Health Award presented at Annual McKee Thanks Loveland Luncheon
LOVELAND, Colo. (March 8, 2012) --- The annual McKee Medical Center Foundation McKee Thanks luncheon took place Tuesday, March 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McKee Conference and Wellness Center.
The luncheon is an annual opportunity to honor individual and community support for McKee Medical Center.
Donor generosity, staff compassion and the strength of caring all come together to create excellent patient care at Loveland’s community hospital. Inspiring stories of caring, compassion and life-changing experiences were shared and the fourth annual McKee Community Health Award, presented by the McKee Medical Center Foundation, was presented to Wayne Williamson, PA-C.
Williamson was nominated by Melvina Romero who nominated him because of his work at the Loveland Community Health Center. “Wayne considers the patients’ whole life situations and not just a diagnosis. He encourages patients to participate in their health care, making it a joint effort and dual responsibility between himself and the patient.”
The McKee Community Health Award honors one individual that has contributed to the overall health and wellness of the Loveland community either through direct care or volunteer service in the Loveland health care field.
The McKee Medical Center Foundation raises funds and friends for the health and wellness of our community.
