NCMC’s Spirit of Women event teaches about pain relief options in labor


GREELEY, Colo. (Oct. 2, 2012) — North Colorado Medical Center’s Spirit of Women wants to help pregnant women and their partners learn more about pain relief options during labor.

The class “Obstetrical Anesthesia: Hard to Spell, Hard to Understand,” is a great opportunity to have questions answered by the anesthesia experts at NCMC. Even for families who already have had babies, the class can provide new information about anesthesia during labor and birth.

The class is being offered on five dates: Oct. 9 and in 2013 on Jan. 8, April 9, July 9 and Oct. 8 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be held in the NCMC Monfort Family Birth Center Classroom, 1801 16th St., Greeley.
