STERLING, Colo.(March 22, 2012)--Centennial Area Health Education Center (CAHEC), recently hosted the 27th Annual Centennial Nightingale Luminary Awards at Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Loveland, Colorado. The purpose of the Nightingale Awards is to honor area nurses who have shown exceptional talent and dedication in their practices. Nurses were nominated by peers, administrators, families, patients, and friends.
Sterling Regional MedCenter is honored to have an RN nominated and recognized at the annual Centennial Nightingale Luminary Awards. Congratulations to Sara Grauberger, RN in Labor, Delivery and Post-Partum at SRM. During her five years at SRM, Sara has provided outstanding education for patients and families. To ensure her patients receive the best care possible, Sara has continued her own education in order to provide cutting-edge, innovative treatment, and problem resolution as her patients undertake the journey of becoming new parents.
In addition to her RN duties, Sara volunteers on the Shared Leadership Council and teaches Neonatal Resuscitation to staff at SRM. These individuals represent a dedicated group of nurses who are devoted to the health of our patients and community.
