Thorpe named CEO of East Morgan County Hospital
BRUSH, Colo. (Feb. 20, 2012) – Linda Thorpe has been named CEO of East Morgan County Hospital effective Monday, Feb. 20, Banner Health Western Region President Jim Ferando announced. Thorpe had served as the hospital’s interim CEO since last July.
“Linda is a respected executive leader within Banner Health,” Ferando explained. “Her more than 20 years of healthcare experience, much of which has been serving in leadership roles at East Morgan County Hospital, makes her a perfect fit for this role.”
Thorpe’s career with Banner Health began with the Lutheran Health Homecare organization in 1992. She then assumed various assignments with the organization that ultimately led to her most recent role as the chief financial officer at EMCH in 2003. She also has served three interim CEO assignments at the hospital. “As a senior hospital leader for the past nine years, Linda has been involved with every major decision within the facility and is uniquely positioned to help us accomplish our future vision,” Ferando said.
Thorpe holds a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Northern Colorado and is a licensed certified public accountant .

Thorpe said she and her husband, Brad, along with their two daughters are excited about the opportunity to become even more engaged in the Brush community.
