Nenaber named COO of Banner Medical Group
"Pam was a strong, steady leader for Banner Gateway during times of growth and transition," said Becky Kuhn, president of the Arizona East Region. "Her leadership during the construction, opening and early operations of Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center is a great example of why the Banner Health leadership team has been recognized as the Top Leadership Team in the nation."
Nenaber was recently named the 2012 Business Woman of the Year by The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce for her mentorship qualities, community involvement and business success.
"Fortunately for Banner Medical Group, Pam was attracted to the COO role to gain leadership experience in the management of a large, complex medical group serving nearly every state where Banner has operations", said Jim Brannon, president of Banner Medical Group.
In addition, Tracie Newman has been appointed to the role of vice president of operations, Specialty Division, for BMG effective March 5. Newman is currently the associate administrator at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Prior to her current position, Newman spent seven years as the CEO of a large surgical physicians group in the Denver area.
"We believe Pam and Tracie's leadership will result in rapidly accelerating Banner Medical Group’s vision to be recognized as one of the premier medical groups in the nation," said Brannon.
