Banner Health internal medicine specialist plans retirement
LOVELAND, Colo. (Jan. 24, 2013) – After 40 years as a physician, Joel Parliment, MD, is retiring.
Dr. Parliment, has practiced in Loveland for 15 years, will see his last patients Feb. 4. He worked at Banner Health Clinic, specializing in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Parliment has been in practice as an internal medicine physician since 1977. He focused on diseases associated with aging, as well as prevention and patient education. A graduate of the Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa., he stayed in Pennsylvania to complete both his internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and his residency at Abington Memorial Hospital.
In retirement, Dr. Parliment plans to pursue hobbies including restoring old cars and traveling. He also wants to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
Colleagues have planned a retirement reception at McKee Medical Center in February to honor Dr. Parliment.
