Banner Thunderbird helps cancer patients deal with cosmetic issues
SUN CITY, Ariz. (June 27, 2013) – Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is helping cancer patients deal with the changes to skin and hair that they may be dealing with by hosting “Look Good …. Feel Better” 6 – 8 p.m. July 3 in the 3 A Conference Room at the nonprofit hospital at 5555 W. Thunderbird Road, Glendale Ariz. 85306. To register please call Kelly Gruber at 602-865-5450.
Cosmetology professionals will be on hand to help you with skin changes and hair loss and will cover the such topics as the care of wigs; how to tie scarves and wear turbans and hats; how to deal with dry skin and discolored nails among other topics.
All attendees will receive a free cosmetic kit.
The next Look Good … Feel Better meeting with be held Oct. 2.
