Come see the new Banner Health Clinic in Florence offering primary care
Free event on Nov. 2 offers the community tours and a chance to meet staff
FLORENCE, Ariz. (October 7, 2013) – Banner Health is proud to soon be offering primary care to the Town of Florence with its new Banner Health Clinic in Merrill Ranch. The community is invited to see the new facility on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 to 11 a.m. The new clinic is located within the new, growing Anthem Del Webb planned community of Merrill Ranch in Florence at 3235 N. Hunt Highway, Suite 103 in the Safeway shopping center.
Participants can hear the opening remarks and join in the dedication, followed by a celebration including healthy snacks, giveaways, children’s activities and information about Banner Health facilities and services. Community members are invited to meet the clinic’s primary care physician, nurse practitioner and staff, tour the new 1,900 square foot facility - and even make an appointment for care.
The Banner Health Clinic in Merrill Ranch will officially open to patients on Monday, Oct. 28 starting at 7 a.m. The clinic will be staffed exclusively by Banner Medical Group providers, including one physician and a nurse practitioner and will feature four exam rooms.
Banner Health Clinics accept most insurance plans. The center will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and 7 a.m. to noon on Friday. To schedule an appointment or for more information, call (520) 233-2770.
The center will offer a wide range of services including:
- Well-child checkups and immunizations
- Adult physcials
- Care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and asthma
- Treatment for ear aches, sore throats and infections
- Sports injury and fracture care
- Minor skin irritation treatment
- Cuts and suture removal
