Community Classic Bike Tour raises over $84,000

LOVELAND, Colo. (May 20, 2013) --- Over 1,300 bicyclists rode in the 25th annual Community Classic Bike Tour on Sunday, May 19, raising more than $84,000. One hundred percent of registration fees and sponsorships benefited the Stepping Stones Adult Day Program at McKee Medical Center.

Four different scenic routes started at McKee Medical Center and traveled through the Carter Lake, Horsetooth Reservoir and Boyd Lake areas providing a challenging ride for different skill levels. Many riders comment that this is the most beautiful ride in the West.

More than 200 volunteers made this event possible assisting on the course, registering riders, handing out food and water at aid stations, providing safety on the course, and working on-site.

Sponsor support came from Advanced Medical Imaging, Home State Bank, Kaiser Permanente, Orthopaedic and Spine Center of the Rockies, Public Service Credit Union, Subaru of Loveland, Eldorado Spring Water, Experience Plus, KUNC, Campus Cycles, Loveland Cycle ‘N Fitness, Northern Colorado Channel 5, Townsquare Media, Northern Colorado Business Report and Waste Management.
