East Morgan County Hospital expert discusses ADHD
BRUSH, Colo. (July 11, 2013) – East Morgan County Hospital invites the community to learn more about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD – at an upcoming seminar Thursday, July 18.

Lana McCauley-Soylu, MD, an assistant professor of pediatrics at University of South Florida in Tampa, is the guest presenter.
Dr. Soylu is a 1990 graduate of Brush High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of South Florida in 2003.
Dr. Soylu will discuss guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics for diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, the various types of screening methods available for diagnosing ADHD and the various classes of ADHD medications and their side effects. In addition, she will cover the importance of goal setting and behavior modifications as well as accommodations for students who are diagnosed with ADHD.
