Learn How To “Stretch Your Dollars” at Finance 50+ Seminar

 

SUN CITY, Ariz. (April 29, 2013) – Banner Olive Branch Senior Center is hosting an “AARP Foundation Finances 50+” Seminar – a three-part money management program. 

Participants will be given a free book, free refreshments, free lunch and can earn up to $30 by attending the seminar.

In our tough economy, many Americans are struggling to get by, so how do you get back on track? And how can you get out of debt? These questions and more may be answered by the AARP Foundation Finances 50+ program, offering practical guidance and tools that can help.

The program will give you a good handle on where you stand financially, plus simple, hands-on ways to make measurable progress toward your financial goals.  Each of the three 90-minute interactive sessions is designed to help you build habits that can improve your financial situation and empower you to take control of your finances.

Program Dates and Topics:

Sat, May 11

  • 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Sign in, Coffee and Refreshments
  • 10 a.m. to Noon - Class #1 “Budgeting and Finances”
  • Noon to 1 p.m. – Lunch Break (Lunch provided)
  • 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Class #2 “Taking Control of Credit & Debt”

Sat, May 18

  • 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. – Coffee and Refreshments
  • 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. – “Protecting Your Assets”
