Learn how to manage your money and budget for a better life

 

SUN CITY, Ariz. (Feb 25, 2013) – Banner Olive Branch Senior Center will host another series of “AARP Foundation Finances 50+” three-part money management programs on the dates listed below:

In our tough economy, many Americans are struggling to get by so how do you get back on track? And how can you get out of debit?  These questions and more may be answered by the AARP Foundation Finances 50+ program, offering practical guidance and tools that can help.

The program will give you a good handle on where you stand financially, plus simple, hands-on ways to make measurable progress toward your financial goals.  Each of the three 90-minute interactive sessions is designed to help you build habits that can improve your financial situation and empower you to take control of your finances.


PROGRAM DATES: 

  • Monday March 18, Wednesday March 20 and Thursday March 21 OR
  • Monday April 1, Tuesday April 2 and Thursday April 4 OR
  • Monday April 22, Wednesday April 24 and Thursday April 25

PROGRAM TOPICS: 

  • Day 1: Budget & Goal Setting
      (Where you are, where you want to go & how to get there)
  •  Day 2: Taking Charge of Credit and Debt
      (How to avoid being “scammed)
  •  Day 3: Building and Protecting Your Assets
      (How to live comfortably with limited assets)
