Prenatal class available from Ogallala Community Hospital
OGALLALA, Neb. (May 28, 2013) – Ogallala Community Hospital will offer a childbirth class for pregnant women on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 4-5.
The class, taught by registered nurses, will cover:
- Prenatal care
- Getting ready for delivery
- Stages of labor
- Pain medication options
- Breast feeding
- Delivery (vaginal and c-section)
- Postpartum depression
- What to bring to the hospital.
Parents-to-be can have a tour of the labor and delivery area if it’s available. The class, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., costs $45. Medicaid will pay for the class. For those who don’t have Medicaid and need assistance, financial aid may be available. To register, please call
