Washakie Medical Center offers prostate cancer screening
WORLAND, Wyo. (Sept. 13, 2013) – Men age 50 and older may register for free screenings that can test for prostate cancer. Screenings take place Friday, Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Washakie Medical Center Physician Outreach Clinic, 1106 Big Horn Ave., Worland.
A prostate specific antigen (PSA) screening is a blood test and is the most commonly used test for prostate cancer. Screening only takes a few minutes and could save a life.
