Banner Health Centers host annual Day of Dance
PHOENIX (Feb. 5, 2014) – Tango, two-step or hip-hop—all are good for heart health and will be the beat of the day at the annual “Day of Dance” for heart health from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Banner Health Centers in Surprise, Gilbert and Maricopa.
Day of Dance occurs all over the U.S. on Feb. 22 – February is American Heart Month – and is part of the national Spirit of Women campaign to promote healthy lifestyle choices through education and activities like dancing, movement and healthy eating.
Local dance studios and fitness groups will be on site, helping to get your blood moving. In addition to the exercises, participants will have an opportunity to explore educational booths and take the Heart Age Test.
Day of Dance is free and open to everyone interested in learning simple, fun ways to stay healthy. Join us at 10 a.m. at Banner Health Centers in Gilbert, 155 E. Warner Road; Maricopa, 17900 N. Porter Road; and Surprise, 13995 W. Statler Blvd.
