LSA/Sonora Quest receives community award
PHOENIX (Sept. 18, 2009) – LSA/Sonora Quest Laboratories has been awarded the 2009 Arizona Community Impact Award by the Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) board.
This award is given to one company in Arizona each year, to recognize the organization which has, together with its employees, given back to the communities in Arizona for the greater cause, in the form of volunteer work or charitable contributions or both.
“This recognition comes from countless hours of volunteer efforts and generous financial support that our employees and company provide to non-profit organizations,’’ said Dave Dexter, president and chief executive officer of LSA/Sonora Quest Labs.
LSA/Sonora Quest has helped nonprofits such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Society, Banner Foundation, El Rio Foundation, Prostate On-Site Project, Drug Free America, and food banks located throughout the state of Arizona.
“As a successful health care company and integrated laboratory network, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to give back to charitable organizations and the communities we serve; but it’s also good business, because it augments our value proposition and reputation as a responsible business partner in communities throughout Arizona.’’ Dexter said.
“We can all be proud that our employees and our company are now recognized as role models in this regard,’’ he said.
