Arizona

University of Arizona Health network welcomed into Banner Health system to form Banner – University  Medicine
Banner Health and University of Arizona Health Network have come together to form Banner – University Medicine, a health system anchored in Phoenix and Tucson that makes the highest level of care accessible to Arizona residents.

Banner Health Centers and Clinics continue to open new locations
Banner Health Centers and Clinics are designed to take care of primary and specialty health care needs with convenient locations throughout the communities we serve.

Banner Casa Grande Medical Center acquisition, Casa Grande, AZ  
Since 1984, this acute care hospital has had a reputation of providing exceptional patient care in the community. In June 2014, Banner Health welcomed Casa Grande Medical into its system. In addition to providing patient care within its 177 private rooms, there is an impressive lineup of additional services available at Banner Casa Grande. These services provide the community with more convenient access to the latest procedures and equipment available in interventional cardiology, medical imaging and outpatient surgery. 

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center outpatient cancer facility expansion
A  $62.6 million, 111,000-square foot expansion project of the outpatient cancer facility added three linear accelerators, 30 clinic exam rooms and 13 infusion bays. It also allowed for the expansion of the Laboratory Intake Center and the Welcome Center and includes the Cox Center for Integrative Oncology and Cancer Prevention.

New tower construction at Banner Estrella Medical Center 
The $161 million expansion project, completed in March 2014, includes the addition of a new tower, an expanded emergency department and expanded surgical, obstetrical and medical imaging capabilities.

Banner Goldfield Medical Center acquisition 
Banner Goldfield Medical Center opened in June 2013 to provide state-of-the-art, patient-centered care to the communities of Apache Junction and Gold Canyon. The 30-bed hospital offers an array of medical care, including emergency services, intensive care, medical/surgical care, progressive care, surgery, imaging, pharmacy and lab.


Colorado

Fort Collins Medical Center will open April 2015 
The Fort Collins facility, to be built on a 28-acre campus, will open in 2015 with a two-story hospital featuring an emergency department, a 24-bed inpatient unit, labor and delivery rooms, medical imaging, women’s services, surgical services and lab services. The campus will include an outpatient clinic and medical office building. Future growth will be based on demand.

East Morgan County Hospital expansion, Brush, CO
East Morgan County Hospital’s expansion brings enhanced capabilities and strengthened commitment to the community. The new construction will expand the hospital’s footprint with an additional 29,000 square feet. Infrastructure upgrades include a new heating and cooling system and a new generator. Chief among the visitor and patient upgrades are additional parking spaces and larger, private and semi-private patient room, as well as a new entry.

Nebraska

Ogallala Community Hospital expansion, Ogallala, NE
A $2 million expansion, complete in 2014, accommodates more outpatient clinic services in the community and involves a 3,800- to 5,000- square-foot extension of the hospital. It provides space for additional visiting specialists with five bays for infusion services and cancer care.
