Congratulations and welcome to Banner Staffing Services and to the beginning of your Journey with Banner Health.

As you get ready for Employee Orientation, and possibly Simulation Training, we have gathered training materials and study guides to review or download in order to best prepare you.

Materials are in an Adobe PDF format, if you are having difficulties accessing the links below, we have included a guide  to assist you.

Math Test

Math Testing is performed on the first day of orientation. We advise you to review the materials prior to orientation:

• ED, ICU, and Telemetry RNs please review the critical care IV medication math testing materials and answer guide.
• All other RNs, please review the non-critical care IV medication math testing materials and answer guide.

ECG Study Guides and Practice Test

ECG testing is conducted on the first day of orientation. Please make sure that you review the ECG material. Depending on your area of Clinical expertise we have the following study guides for your review:

• ICU, ED, Telemetry, Pre-Op, PACU - ACLS guide
• PICU, Pediatric Hem/Oncology & Pediatrics - PALS guide
• Labor and Delivery - OB guide.

There is also a general practice ECG test and answer key for your review.

Simulation Lab

The simulation experience consists of skill testing and scenarios and is an innovative and effective way of preparing BSS staff for working in either Registry or Travel capacities. If you are scheduled to attend Simulation please review these materials to assist and prepare you for this part of orientation.
