Banner Health is proud to provide the Banner Health Nurse Fellows Program – a program that is designed to increase the capacity of existing college nursing programs while building a pipeline of qualified registered nurses for Banner Health. The program provides students entering the Maricopa Community College nursing program the opportunity to receive education assistance in exchange for an employment commitment after completion of the nursing degree program.

Eligibility:
To apply for the program, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Have completed your academic requirements and are ready to enter the MCCD nursing program
- Be on the MCCD list of currently eligible students to enter into the nursing program
- Completed BIO 202 and BIO 205
- Meet MCCD tuition residency requirements
- Be eligible to work in the U.S
- Is a 16-month accelerated program offered through participating Community Colleges in the Maricopa Community College District
- Will pay for the cost of tuition, books, and fees
- 30 participants per cohort
- Individuals selected will agree to work for Banner Health full-time as a registered nurse for a minimum of three years following graduation
Participating Maricopa Community Colleges:
- Estrella Mountain Community College
- GateWay Community College
- Glendale Community College
- Mesa Community College
- Complete the MCCD Nursing Program application
- Attend an Information Session held monthly at GateWay Community College.
- Complete the Banner Health Nurse Fellows application,
available only at the Information Session - Attach a copy of the NET score and an unofficial transcript
- Meet the criteria for selection. Selected applicants are invited to interview with a panel of Banner Health staff members
