Banner Health RN-BSN Program
(Project MADE)


Banner Health recently received funding through a U.S. Department of Labor grant. The grant provides funds to cover a portion of the tuition for 90 RNs currently employed in Arizona facilities to earn their BSN through Arizona State University College of Nursing and Health Innovation’s RN to BSN Program. The ASU RN to BSN Program is an on-line program with several admission dates through May 2014.

Program Details
The RN-BSN Program is offered online, is built on the knowledge and skills learned in the AAS in Nursing and can be completed in 15-24 months.  In the program, there are practice experiences designed for RNs.  Students will need to spend 18-24 hours per week completing course work for each RN-BSN course.  We have 5 sessions a year for the RN-BSN program (2 in the Fall, 2 in the Spring, and 1 in the Summer).  The sessions are 7.5 weeks in the Fall and Spring and 8 weeks in the Summer.  There are 10 courses in the RN-BSN Program (38 Upper Division Credits).  120 credits are required to graduate, including 45 Upper Division credits, and General Studies requirements.

To be considered for Department of Labor tuition support, a completed Banner Tuition Support Program Application Form must be received as well as acceptance to the ASU RN-BSN Program prior to the below start dates:
