Topics include: What is Palliative Care, Difference between Hospice and Palliative Care and When Palliative Care is beneficial.
About the presenters:
Amberly Molosky has worked for the last 12 years in end of life care, particularly home health and hospice services. She has a background in Health Services Administration and is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator. Amberly most recently was provided the opportunity to be a system director for Banner Health in efforts to expand and grow the palliative care programs both inpatient and outpatient. Her focus more recently is a test of design program in Arizona for high risk members as a part of Banner Health Network. Amberly has been with Banner Health for 6 years.
Stacie Pinderhughes, M.D., serves as the Medical Director of Palliative Medicine at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center and the Chair for the Division of Palliative Care for Banner Health. She oversees a successful inpatient Palliative Medicine consultation service at Good Samaritan, Banners Flagship tertiary care facility. Dr. Pinderhughes has moved into a system leadership role where she is charged with developing a stable platform for the delivery of Palliative Medicine across Banner with both in and outpatient.
