Patient Financial Service Representatives
Banner Health, Arizona’s largest healthcare organization and the 2nd largest private employer in the state is currently seeking Patient Financial Representatives to join its team. The PFS Rep coordinates and facilitates patient billing and collection activities. This involves following patient accounts through the billing process and working closely with health insurance companies through claims processing, ensuring reimbursement to the facility in a timely and accurate manner.
Positions are currently located at Banner Corporate Center Mesa near Country Club and Brown
Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, one year of experience in patient financial services
- Previous experience working with health insurance and the ability to read contractual language
- Experience with health insurance companies such as Ahcccs, Medicare, Medicare HMO, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc. prefered
- Must have an understanding of medical insurance laws, guidelines and hospital billing procedures.
