Stars of the Season
Maintaining its status as a successful star-studded affair, the 4th annual Stars of the Season played to a packed house on Saturday, Oct. 26. More than 600 guests gathered at the Montelucia Resort & Spa to raise more than $400,000 for The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Cardon Children’s Medical Center.
Following a theme of “Carnevale di Venezia,” the opulent event featured colorful décor, festive performers indicative of the Italian Renaissance, silent and live auctions, and an intimate performance by Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington.
One of Banner Health Foundation’s signature fundraising events, Stars of the Season was organized by the Advisory Council of Cardon Children’s Medical Center, a 55-member volunteer council founded by Tina Curran and her husband David Curran, MD, chairman of the hospital’s Department of Pediatric Medicine.
“Tina and Dave are a dynamic power couple and they have brought together an amazing group of philanthropically-minded individuals to help support Cardon Children’s Medical Center,” commented Andy Kramer Petersen, president and CEO of Banner Health Foundation. “We are incredibly fortunate to have their support and we look forward to the continued success of Stars of the Season.”
