Alzheimer’s disease: Help protect precious memories
Bold Mission: Banner Alzheimer’s Institute maintains a steadfast commitment to its ambitious, but highly achievable, goals:
- To end Alzheimer’s disease without losing another generation
- To set a new standard of care for patients and families
- To forge a model of collaboration in biomedical research
Fulfilling this mission is dependent upon a commitment to providing patients and families touched by Alzheimer’s with the resources to help cope with and manage the disease. In addition, it requires a research model unlike anything seen before.
Breaking the mold and embarking on an innovative path toward discovery led Banner Alzheimer’s Institute to create the Alzheimer's Prevention Initiative (API), an international collaborative effort bringing together Alzheimer’s disease research scientists, physicians and pharmaceutical companies from around the world.
This incredibly worthwhile undertaking is dependent on the commitment of many. Researchers and physicians must be driven by discovery. Pharmaceutical companies must be passionate about the purpose. Study participants must be committed to the cause. And the world must be willing to endow the effort.
With your help, the API will be the world’s most rapid and rigorous course to prevention.
