There are times when each of us seeks a quiet retreat to pause and give thanks for our blessings or to reflect and meditate on difficult situations. Through the years, the Interfaith Chapel at McKee Medical Center has provided a sanctuary for contemplation and prayer to countless patients, their families, their friends, and McKee caregivers.
McKee Medical Center has a long history of dedication to healing the whole person. . . . physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The Interfaith Chapel Expansion Project is an important reflection of the values of our local community and hospital philosophy. The expansion project will more than double the current space while keeping it in the same accessible location.
The expanded Chapel will accommodate interfaith services for 24 participants while maintaining an intimate setting conducive to private meditation and prayer. Three additional stained glass panels will be added on the west wall to compliment the beautiful stained glass panels currently in place. Etched glass windows along the wall will illuminate the Interfaith Chapel and stained glass pieces with soft natural light.
