Volunteer FAQs

Help make a difference in people's lives. Become a Banner Health volunteer! Here are some common questions about volunteering:

  • Where can I volunteer?
Volunteers for Banner Health have the opportunity to work at any Banner Health hospital, in our home care programs and at our behavioral health centers. Within the hospital, volunteers can choose to work in patient care areas, with the public or with health care staff. We also host a number of community events where our volunteers can lend their expertise.
  • When can I volunteer?
One of the best parts of volunteering with Banner Health is the flexibility we offer in scheduling your volunteer time. We ask that volunteers donate at least four hours each week. Positions are available mornings, afternoons and evenings, seven days a week. We'll be glad to work with you to develop a schedule that meets your needs.
  • How do I become a volunteer?
