Audio: “My experiences during the days that I volunteer have been great. Every day there is a different story. Individuals come in and I think they feel overwhelmed, they might feel anxious, they’re coming to see a loved one and so helping those individuals, with just even minute information, is a great feeling and I feel that I’m giving back to our community.
I feel that it’s a responsibility, as being a member of our community, and I feel that I’m helping this great organization in touching those people’s lives through their mission.
North Colorado Medical Center’s mission is to make a difference in people’s lives through excellent patient care. That’s very important to me, I believe in that and I support that. And so by volunteering I feel like I have a part of that.If someone should approach me and ask me about my volunteer experience at NCMC and ask if they, you know, if it would be something they might consider I would encourage them. My time here has been a great experience, from the moment I came for my interview, right up until today. I feel very honored by all of the people that work in the volunteer offices, as well as I enjoy the volunteers and all the people I come in contact with.”
