Audio: “I get a great deal of satisfaction out of helping other people. When we first moved to Sun City West from Tulsa, Oklahoma I had never volunteered. My wife and I both volunteer at the Del E. Webb Hospital. And one of the – one of the positions we enjoy most is we are one of a team of couples that give expectant moms and their partners tours on our ‘Pickles and Ice Cream’ tours. And we enjoy greatly visiting with these young folks and showing them the facilities at Del E. Webb Hospital that they can utilize for their birthing experience.

If someone is seeking to volunteer at Del E. Webb Hospital, number one I’d say, by all means come in and apply to be one of our volunteers. And they in turn will receive training for the position and they will soon be filling a – fulfilling a task that we, as volunteers, fulfill so that the medical staff can better service our patients.”
