The 2 South Medical Nursing Unit specializes in providing general medical care to adults and adolescents with an illness or disease. The unit uses a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to create an environment conducive to healing. Our goal is to restore the patient to self-care and minimize the effects of illness and disease through patient and family education.

To get where they are today, our nurses underwent years of education and training. But one of the most important parts of the job wasn't learned in a classroom - it comes straight from the heart. Our nurses provide the care and expertise essential to healing, but never forget the importance of a smile, a pat on the back or a word of encouragement.
