Visiting Information
Visiting hours on the Behavioral Health unit at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital are 5 to 7 p.m., Monday thru Friday; 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Visitors are required to check in at the main nursing station; all visitors must show photo identification.
Items brought to the unit by visitors are screened. We do not allow lighters, matches, weapons, alcohol or drugs of sharp items like keys.
Patients are generally permitted to have three visitors at a time. However, a patient’s number of visitors and length of visits may be limited to ensure safety and well being. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Children under 12 are not permitted to visit patients in the secured section of the unit.
