Question: When can I start cardiac rehab?
Answer: It is best to call us as soon as possible to initiate the paperwork process and set up an initial intake interview. The Cardiac Rehab Program requires a physician referral for entry.
Question: Is it safe for me to exercise?
Answer: Yes. You will be closely monitored by our staff who will ensure you are exercising at a safe and comfortable level. This is especially beneficial if you are new to exercise.
Question: I already exercise, so why should I come to Cardiac Rehab?
Answer: Cardiac Rehab offers a monitored and medically supervised environment for those re-starting an exercise program. The program also involves education on risk factor modification and cardiac disease.
Question: Will insurance pay for the program?
Answer: Insurance usually covers cardiac rehab, however it is important to check with your insurance company to ensure coverage, assess the need to pre-certify for service, and clarify the number of sessions that are covered.
