Heart Care Services

When facing the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease, Fairbanks residents want to stay close to home. This inspired the creation of The Harry & Sally Porter Heart Center at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

The Porter Heart Center is the only full-time Cardiology Clinic serving the area from Denali National Park to the North Slope and Canadian border.

Demand for our services has prompted us to recently expand.

Now housed at the Heart Center within Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, we have ten exam rooms and provides expert diagnosis, emergency stabilization, short- and long-term management and prevention guidance of numerous cardiovascular conditions.

The center, along with Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, offers the following heart care services:
