At Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, the 2 South Medical Nursing Unit provides general medical care for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patient population with an illness or disease
The unit uses a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to create an environment conducive to healing.
Our goal is to restore the patient to self care and minimize the effects of illness and disease through patient and family education.
Our nurses have years of education and training but one of their greatest strengths didn't come from a classroom - it comes straight from the heart.
Our nurses provide the care and expertise essential to healing, but never forget the importance of a smile, a pat on the back or a word of encouragement.
Visiting Hours:
10 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily
