What is Hospital Based Massage Therapy?
Massage and comforting touch has been in hospitals for years. Hospital based massage therapy allows massage therapists to have the singular focus on providing skilled touch to allow comfort. Trained therapists follow hospital protocol, and consider medications, pressure, site and position restrictions.

Length of Session:
- For massages provided in the Massage Therapy Room, 122A NT, sessions range from 15 minutes to 120 minutes. For hospital visits, 10 minutes may be enough for seriously ill patients. Pregnant and new moms may enjoy sessions up to 60 minutes.

Prices:
- Payment is by cash or check to the therapist, or by gift certificates which are available at the Information Desk at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (credit cards accepted).
- Hospital Room Visits: $13 / 1 Unit (minimum 10 minutes) per gift certificate
- Denali Center: $15 / 15 minutes or $30 / 30 minutes
- Massage Therapy Room, 122A NT: $13 / 15 minutes per gift certificate
