Fairbanks Memorial Hospital provides expert surgical care for procedures ranging from routine to highly specialized. State-of-the-art surgical suites, board-certified surgeons and anesthesiologists and the latest in surgical techniques and technologies allow us to perform a wide range of inpatient and outpatient procedures including orthopedics, plastics, gynecology and more.

Patients recover from surgery in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) where caregivers trained in adult and pediatric advanced life support and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) monitor their recovery and ensure adequate pain management.

As a continuation of our surgical care, we provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to help patients recover and return to their highest level of function as quickly and safely as possible.
