Our mission is to provide services to FMH/DC and its patients and residents. Over 100 volunteers perform a wide range of services in nearly all areas of the facility benefiting patients, residents, employees and visitors.

Whether you are interested in volunteering to gain experience or to give back to your community, we would love to have you as part of our team. Our volunteers play a valuable role in providing excellent patient and resident care to our family and friends in the community. Volunteers at FMH/DC range in age from 14-90 years old.
