Dr. Sarmiento joined Banner Health care in 2008 and specializes in Pediatrics. As a pediatrician, he provides all types of care from the healthy newborn to the care of children with complex medical conditions and chronic disease. Children and teens through age seventeen can be seen. If your newborn child is born at Banner Thunderbird or Arrowhead Hospital, he will see examine him or her within 24 hours of delivery. If your ill child is admitted to the hospital, a pediatric hospitalist doctor will manage medical care. Follow-up with Dr. Sarmiento is recommended after discharge.
