Baywood now Level III Trauma Center

Banner Baywood Medical Center is now certified as a Level III Trauma Center.

With the Level III Trauma Center designation in place, Banner Baywood is now capable of handling serious traumatic injuries and procedures are in place to quickly transfer patients requiring a higher level of care.

All facilities within Banner Health will have trauma centers by 2013.
