Baby boy enters the world at Banner Baywood Medical Center just 28 seconds into the New Year
MESA, Ariz. (Jan. 1, 2009) - John Saiz’s bouncing baby boy wasn’t supposed to be born until the third week of January, but little Rylan Saiz decided his birthday would be extra special. Born at Banner Baywood Medical Center in East Mesa, Rylan entered the world just 28 seconds after midnight on Jan.1, 2009.
“I still can’t believe it,” says the new dad. Rylan weighed in at seven pounds, eight ounces and measured in at 20-inches long. He’s the first baby for both his mother and father. John says his wife, Christy Morrison, was in labor for about seven hours before she gave birth. When little Rylan arrived just seconds into the New Year, John says the physician and nurses applauded. Dr. Daniel Rowland delivered Rylan.
Rylan, his father and mother are all doing well.
