Community Wellness Clinics
The role of our Community Wellness Clinics in the East Valley is to improve the lives of our community's residents through free wellness screenings and health education. These screenings are provided by a registered nurse with experience in emergency medicine and health promotion. Banner Health wellness volunteers often assist at community clinics.
Complimentary Health Screenings
Free screenings are offered daily at a variety of community sites. Screenings include:
- Blood Pressure
- Pulse
- Weight
- Diabetic Screening
- Blood Oxygen

Health Education
At each clinic, a variety of health information is available. Our community wellness nurse can answer questions and provide teaching referrals as needed for specific health needs. She often assists organizations in scheduling speakers on a variety of health topics.
Participants receive a health record to keep with them to provide health information to physicians and other health care providers.
Community Resource Referrals
Talking with our community wellness nurse also gives participants the opportunity to learn about Banner Health programs and services to improve their health. Some of the many referrals available include:

- Grief and bereavement counseling
