Our commitment to providing the highest level of care to patients who arrive with symptoms of a heart attack has earned Banner Baywood the distinction of being the East Valley’s only accredited Chest Pain Center.

Since time is of the essence when it comes to treating victims of heart attack, we partner with cardiology physicians at Banner Heart Hospital and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) providers in the East Valley to operate a comprehensive Cardiac Alert Program.

Modeled after other highly successful programs across the country, our Cardiac Alert Program ensures heart attack patients receive the best medical treatment as quickly as possible. We meet, and in many cases exceed, the national recommendation of treating heart attack patients within 90 minutes of their arrival, also known as “door to balloon” time.
