Banner Baywood Medical Center understands the importance of a strong support system and provides support and education resources to help orthopedic patients have a successful recovery.

We offer complimentary pre-hospitalization joint classes at the hospital for orthopedic patients. The classes cover information pertaining to the surgical and hospitalization processes, recovery and follow-up therapy.

Classes are offered several times each month. Call (602) 230-2273 (CARE) for information and registration.

Joint Replacement Pre-Hospital Class
Before you have your total hip or knee joint replacement surgery at Banner Baywood Medical Center, it is recommended you take the Joint Replacement Pre-Hospitalization Class.

Classes: 9 - 11 a.m.
December - April: Every Tuesday
May - November: Second and Fourth Tuesday

To register, call (602) 230-2273 (CARE).

It will provide an overview of your hospital stay and is presented by a nurse, physical therapist and an occupational therapist.
