Banner Baywood Medical Center understands the importance of a strong support system and provides support and education resources to help orthopedic patients have a successful recovery.
Classes
We offer free complimentary pre- and post-hospitalization joint classes for orthopedic patients. The classes cover information pertaining to the surgical and hospitalization processes, recovery and follow-up therapy.

Joint Replacement Pre-Hospital Class
Before you have your total hip or knee joint replacement surgery at Banner Baywood Medical Center, it is recommended you take the Joint Replacement Pre-Hospitalization Class.
The class is held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 9 to 11 a.m. It will provide an overview of your hospital stay and is presented by a nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist and social worker.
