An ostomy refers to the sugically created opening in the body for the discharge of body wastes. Having an ostomy is a life-changing event.

Our certified wound, ostomy and continence nurses are dedicated to helping patients adjust and care for their ostomy with confidence. In addition to general ostomy management and education, the clinic can offer:

• pre-operative stoma site marking for colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy
• appliance fitting and management
• continence management and education
• fistula management
• percutaneous tube stablization/management
• peristomal skin problems
