Adult Intensive Outpatient Mental Health -- Chandler

woman in group session

Chandler Intensive Outpatient Mental Health program is designed to help adults become more satisfied with their lives when depression, bi-polar or other mental illnesses are causing serious difficulties. This level of assistance is appropriate for someone who needs support to manage a crisis, prevent the need for hospitalization or transition from an inpatient setting.

Why is a group setting beneficial?
The group has proven to be a powerful way for people to make positive improvements in a relatively short period of time. Many people have reservations about attending a group session, but once they have experienced the supportive atmosphere of our Intensive Outpatient Program, they feel comfortable and confident about their choice to attend.

How are families involved?
Families are an important part of the recovery process. With guidance and support, families can and do heal together. Family members may attend the group once per week. Consult the program therapist for details.

Who is the therapist?
All therapists are state licensed, with background and experience making them uniquely qualified to run the Adult IOP Mental Health program.
