Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m.
Monday is family day 

 

Banner Thunderbird Adolescent Intensive Outpatient program in Glendale, Ariz., is a dual-diagnosis program designed specifically for adolescents with mental health and/or addictive disease problems. This program is an alternative for those who do not require inpatient treatment.

The program addresses mental health and substance abuse issues of adolescents.

Groups are facilitated by a Master's Level, licensed therapist; the program provides three hours of intensive treatment, three times a week.

Our program includes:

  • Making better choices
  • Coping strategies
  • Educational, familial and social challenges
  • Education on addiction as a disease
  • Relapse prevention
  • 12-Step involvement

Parental Involvement
Parents and/or guardians are required to attend the Monday evening group. Ongoing communication with parents is imperative throughout the program.
