Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Program

Our Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Treatment Program at Wendy Paine O'Brien Center in Scottsdale, Ariz., is dedicated to providing a safe, accountable and culturally sensitive structured environment for stabilization.

The program, serving teens ages 13 to 17, uses rewards, consequences and education to develop a well-rounded, unique individual who is a valued family and community member.

Adolescent programs and services:

  • Daily goal-setting
  • Life skills and building self esteem
  • Anger management
  • Human growth and development
  • Structured recreation therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Weekly diagnostic review with a registered nurse
  • Daily chemical dependency/substance abuse education
  • Group therapy facilitated by a master's-level therapist
  • Daily family visitation
