Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Program

Our Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Treatment Program at Wendy Paine O'Brien Center in Scottsdale, Ariz., is dedicated to providing a safe, accountable and culturally sensitive structured environment for stabilization.

The program, serving teens ages 13 to 17, uses rewards, consequences and education to develop a well-rounded, unique individual who is a valued family and community member.

Adolescent programs and services:

Daily goal-setting
Life skills and building self esteem
Anger management
Human growth and development
Structured recreation therapy
Family therapy
Weekly diagnostic review with a registered nurse
Daily chemical dependency/substance abuse education
Group therapy facilitated by a master's-level therapist
Daily family visitation
