Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Program
Our Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Treatment Program at Wendy Paine O'Brien Center in Scottsdale, Ariz., is dedicated to providing a safe, accountable and culturally sensitive structured environment for stabilization.
The program, serving teens ages 13 to 17, uses rewards, consequences and education to develop a well-rounded, unique individual who is a valued family and community member.
Adolescent programs and services:
- Daily goal-setting
- Life skills and building self esteem
- Anger management
- Human growth and development
- Structured recreation therapy
- Family therapy
- Weekly diagnostic review with a registered nurse
- Daily chemical dependency/substance abuse education
- Group therapy facilitated by a master's-level therapist
- Daily family visitation
