Counseling and Therapy
![]() |
The inpatient program has been carefully designed to meet your treatment needs. Although your schedule is busy, you will also see opportunities for relaxation, recreation and built-in free time for journaling, reading, phone calls or seeing visitors. You are asked to include your family and significant others over the age of 18 years in our family programs.
Your physicians, case managers, nurses and behavioral health technicians will work with you to achieve your treatment goals. We strongly encourage your full commitment and participation in all scheduled groups and activities on your unit. Group attendance is essential to ensure you receive the best possible care. Be sure to ask your clinical case manager or any of our staff if you have question about our groups.
Groups are a very important part of your treatment at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital. During Group Times, the telephones and television are turned off, the patio is locked, and laundry facilities aren't used. The kitchen is also locked. This is done to facilitate undistracted attention to group meetings. All patients are expected to attend.
