Banner Boswell Medical Center adds third hyperbaric oxygen chamber
SUN CITY, Ariz. (April 25, 2012) – Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City has added a third hyperbaric oxygen chamber in the nonprofit hospital's outpatient Hyperbaric Oxygen Center. Banner Boswell is the only provider of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the Northwest Valley. To celebrate the new addition, the hospital is hosting a community open house from 8 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16.

(March 13, 2012) – When Sun City resident Kathie Kukla was diagnosed in 2011 with neuroendocrine cancer – the same cancer that killed her sister 20 years ago – she thought it was a death sentence. Study reveals the four drugs that most often land seniors in the emergency room

(Dec. 20, 2011) – Two-thirds of emergency hospitalizations for adverse drug events among seniors are attributable to four commonly prescribed medications, according to a recent study in the New England Journal of Medicine. (May 26, 2009) – Banner Boswell Medical Center’s Medical Imaging department recently received an additional accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR), this time on the hospital’s second Computed Tomography (CT) scanner. SUN CITY, Ariz. (Oct. 28, 2008) – Patients in the northwest Valley with kidney cancer now have a new option to treat their tumors. This week, Banner Boswell and Banner Del E. Webb medical centers began offering interventional renal cryoablation, a minimally invasive treatment that freezes and kills tumors without surgery.
