In 2015, Banner Boswell made a $3.9 million investment in heart care with the opening of a third, state-of-the-art electrophysiology (EP) lab and control room. According to the American Heart Association, EP procedures study the electrical activity of the heart to help determine the cause of heart arrhytmias (irregular heart beats).
